H.D. Bonobo Thoreau #2
or Land Survey

Ice beneath silken

gripping feet, tugging line across
open vista water

sky cupped birch and pine,

walking out to depths of 102
and then score the rods

bowing to flurries of settling snow
hands crooked from the axe

that blazed the oak posterity
binding close to land

paper, mulch,

moss-trooper finger swipes
condensation

from the face of the compass.

Hedda in the snow

furs her lips
murmurs sense
and emptiness
in life
an egg perches
delicately between
her ankles        blizzard comes
                             din of wind
                        blizzard comes
                             warm sense
of beaked incoherence
surrounds
the gun in her pocket
she waits for winter
                               or summer
                             upside down
                            sunny side up
                                    summer.

John Dee Monkey on His First Visit to Prague

Open red rugged curtain fondle
jolting carriage cobbled lions

Are guarding bridging castle high
jolting carriage cobbled shudder

Close red rugged curtain gurn
pick teeth grumble.

To Man,

two men two men
two moments
two moments
I love love love
two moments
two moments
I love I love I love
I am God         He
I love very much for you to love
I am Dance                 I am God
two moments
I two two two
two moments
I love very much for you to love
I am Dance                 I am God
I love to write in rhythm
I am Dance.
